Hi, I’m Crystal Pirela-Romero — jewelry artist, proud mom, veteran, and founder of Your A Gem LLC. I'm so happy you’re here!
My beading journey began in May 2020 when my sister asked me to make her some waist beads and anklets during a visit to New York. What started as a fun hobby quickly turned into a passion. I kept creating, learning, and evolving — and soon, more and more people started reaching out for custom pieces.
Beading became my therapy — a creative escape that brought joy not only to me but to my kids too. In the early days, I sold on Etsy (2020–2023) to help grow my business and get honest feedback beyond family and friends. Since then, I’ve branched out, dreaming even bigger.
I specialize in handmade, meaningful jewelry — waist beads, anklets, and one-of-a-kind designs — and I love creating custom pieces that reflect your unique energy. I’m also working toward expanding into candles, crystals, and paintings. My goal? To one day open a physical shop where creativity flows freely.
A little more about me: I’m a New York native, U.S. military veteran (retired in 2022), recent accounting graduate, and future CPA. I’m 30, married, raising three amazing kids and three fur babies (two black cats and one orange troublemaker).
